How far in advance should I book a ride?
Book as early as possible, especially for medical appointments, hospital discharges, airport trips, dialysis, chemotherapy, radiation, or recurring transportation. Same-day requests can be submitted through the online ride booking form and are reviewed based on availability, mobility needs, distance, timing, and driver capacity.
What payment methods do you accept?
Stellar Mobility is built around private-pay ride requests. A coordinator reviews your booking details, confirms the estimate shown in the rate estimate panel, and verifies available payment options before the ride is finalized.
Do you accept Medicaid/insurance?
Stellar Mobility currently focuses on private-pay accessible transportation and also works with multiple transportation brokers. If you have Medicaid transportation benefits, book your ride through your county Medicaid broker and ask whether Stellar Mobility can be assigned when available. If you need insurance, facility billing, or other third-party payer support, please use the contact section before scheduling so the team can confirm whether the trip can be supported.
What should I bring for my ride?
Bring identification, appointment information, discharge paperwork if applicable, mobility devices, medications or oxygen equipment, keys, a phone, payment information, and any instructions needed for pickup, drop-off, or facility handoff. Add these details in the special instructions field when booking.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please notify Stellar Mobility as soon as possible if a ride must be changed or canceled. Late cancellations, no-shows, long wait times, or changes after dispatch review may affect the final fare or future scheduling.
What areas do you serve?
Stellar Mobility serves communities across the Puget Sound region, including South King County and Pierce County areas such as Tacoma, Parkland, Puyallup, Federal Way, Kent, Renton, Auburn, Bellevue, and Seattle. Point-to-point and long-distance transportation may also be available across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. View the full service area list.
Do you offer point-to-point or long-distance transportation?
Yes. Stellar Mobility provides cost-effective, on-time point-to-point transportation, long-distance non-emergency medical transportation, and state-to-state ride support across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Availability depends on timing, distance, mobility needs, driver capacity, and trip details. Use the booking form or contact section to share the route for review.
Do you provide wheelchair accessible vehicles?
Yes. Stellar Mobility provides wheelchair-accessible transportation for riders using manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, scooters, bariatric wheelchairs, ambulatory support, and other mobility needs. Learn more in our services overview and medical transportation section.
Can family members ride along?
Family members, caregivers, or escorts may be able to ride along when space and trip requirements allow. Include escort details on the booking form so the team can review seating, timing, and safety needs.
What if I need to make changes to my booking?
Contact Stellar Mobility as soon as possible with changes to pickup time, appointment time, address, mobility type, escort needs, oxygen, stairs, return ride, or special instructions. Changes are reviewed based on availability and route impact.
Do you provide service on weekends and holidays?
Ride requests can be submitted online at any time. Weekend, holiday, after-hours, and urgent transportation availability is confirmed by the operations team based on schedule, driver capacity, and trip details.
